After writing "My sister the sea, she calls me, she sings 'Oh, my Love'", I've been remembering a poem by Sri HWL Poonja (who is known as Papaji). In the first line of the poem, he wrote, "There is a perpetual fathomless pull of Love into Love." That's so what it felt like, walking on the beach, that the Ocean was calling me into Love. Pondering that this week, I started to notice that everything is actually Love pulling us into Love. We don't notice it when we run away from something, or close our eyes to something, or dig our heels in resisting something, or think a lot about something. But when I truly meet anything all the way, yep, once again, I discover that it is Love pulling me into Love, and I am Love and the whole thing is doing the whole thing! Here's a new song that begins with Papaji's sentence, with gratitude to Papaji for his remarkably vivid and creative way of expressing Truth. The entire poem is in a wonderful collection of Papaji's teachings entitled The Truth Is on p. 547.

Here is the Durham Chorus singing the song the day after it appeared.
I hope you will sing it with us now, and maybe in person some time as well.

Fathomless Pull
© K Hannan 2015 (first line by Papaji)
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
Can you see it in the morning light?
Yes, you can, I know you do
That is your Heart, seeing your Heart
That is you, loving you
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
Can you feel it in the baby's hand?
Yes, you can, I know you do
That is your Heart, touching your Heart
That is you, loving you
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
Can you hear it in the bluebird's song
Yes, you can, I know you do
That is your Heart, calling your Heart
That is you, loving you
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
Can you taste it in the summer rain
Yes, you can, I know you do
That is your Heart, tasting your Heart
That is you, loving you
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
Do you know it deep inside
Yes, you do, I know you do
That is your Heart, knowing your Heart
That is you, loving you
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
There is a fathomless pull of Love into Love
Can you find it in your neighbor's eyes
Yes, you can, I know you do
That is your Heart, finding your own Heart
That is you, loving you
